Ayahuasca
Ayahuasca is a teacher plant with a feminine spirit, known as Grandmother Ayahuasca. Sometimes we can experience the vision of a young or old woman depending on the age of the plant that has been prepared, and many times the spirit of the plant is seen as an anaconda or jaguar. Ayahuasca is like a snake that carries the memories of life. It is known as the vine of the souls and has been used for thousands of years by the people of the Amazon to cure physical, mental, and emotional illness by taking the participants on a journey to different levels of consciousness to heal. Like all power plants, the healing depends on the willingness of the participants to make the changes shown by the medicine, commitment to healing, and the severity of the disease.

During a journey with Huilka, it is very common to see geometric patterns typical of a mathematics lesson, reason being, the spirit of the plant is very precise and strict. Mama Huilka proposes a commitment to improve all aspects of our lives and this we can experience when we know the essence of true love.
Tobacco
Tobacco is a sacred plant to nearly all indigenous peoples and for good reason. In the cosmovision of the Andes it is the most sacred of plants. Grandfather tobacco is often misused and abused in "modern" societies and is thought of as something negative. However this plant is a great teacher and helps to connect us humans with Creator and the spiritual world. The smoke of tobacco goes up to the sky carrying our prayers and intentions. It can also be blown on people and objects to ward off bad spirits and give blessings. When ingested through the nose or drunk with water it can help us feel our emotions and state of health more accurately. It is a powerful purgative and helps us to release bad energies or emotions. It also helps us to have more clear visions, opening up our third eye chakra.
